TreeHouse Foods Expands Recall to Include Culinary Tours Belgian Waffles Due to Possible Listeria Monocytogenes Contamination

TreeHouse Foods is expanding its voluntary recall to include all products manufactured at their Brantford facility. The recall includes frozen toaster waffle, Belgian waffle and pancake products, due to the potential to be contaminated with Listeria Monocytogenes. The recall initiated on Thursday, October 17, 2024, is being expanded due to additional testing conducted at the manufacturing facility in Brantford, Ontario, Canada.

Listeria monocytogenes is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Listeria monocytogenes infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.

The voluntary recall affects the products listed below with best by dates of October 1, 2024 through October 11, 2025 with batch codes starting with 2C.

 TreeHouse Foods is working with the United States Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) in connection with this voluntary recall.
