When you think of the Lent season you might gravitate toward seafood-based dishes. And for good reason; seafood varies from fish, crabs, shrimp, lobster, and plenty of others. It’s no wonder seafood is a popular option, it typically is low in fat and it’s a healthy source of Omega-3s.

Plant-based is perfect for those who observe Lent but have seafood allergies and sensitivities. Some may think that plant-based means bland and un-appealing, but in fact if prepared with fresh ingredients and flavored with spices, they may be some of the best food you’ve tried!
