We were notified by one of our suppliers that they are initiating a voluntary recall of bacon that is suspected to be contaminated with metal. This bacon is used on some of the finished goods produced at Palermo’s. A list of the affected products is outlined below.

Palermo’s is confident that all products sent out with lot numbers other than what is listed above are fully safefor consumption. All of our products are passed through a verified metal detector and records of metal detection are reviewed and approved prior to shipment. There have been no confirmed reports of injury or adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

This recall is taking place under the guidance and awareness of the United States Department of Agriculture. We apologize to our customer and consumers and sincerely regret inconveniences created by this recall.
