San Bernardino, California (June 13, 2024) – Stater Bros. Markets is joining with ABC7 and Subaru Retailers for the 13th Annual Feed SoCal Food Drive to help Southern California food banks assist people who are facing hunger. Due to the end of CalFresh COVID-19 emergency allotments and the impact of inflation, the risk of food insecurity is greater than ever.

“This campaign is very near and dear to our hearts because we recognize that having a reliable source of food is a foundational human need,” said Stater Bros. Charities Chairman and President Nancy Negrette. “We are grateful to have partners like ABC7, Subaru Retailers and our local food banks who share our vision of helping those faced with food insecurity.”
All donations benefit Stater Bros. Charities, the nonprofit arm of Stater Bros. Markets. As stewards of these funds, Stater Bros. Charities will distribute 100% of the donations among all food bank partners during the summer months when food reserves are typically lower.
