Smoky BBQ Cheeseburger Recipe Featuring KING’S HAWAIIAN®

Here’s a recipe using KING’S HAWAIIAN® Original Hawaiian Sweet Hamburger Buns. You can also use KING’S HAWAIIAN® Original Hawaiian Sweet Slider Buns to make sliders instead. This Smoky BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger has the perfect blend of sweet and savory flavors, that highlights the hamburger buns.

Ingredients:

  • 4 KING’S HAWAIIAN® Original Hawaiian Sweet Hamburger Buns
  • Grillo’s Pickles® Classic Dill Chips
  • 1/2 LB. Ground Beef
  • 3 Bacon Strips, Fully Cooked
  • 4 Slices of Cheddar Cheese
  • BBQ Sauce
  • Salt
  • Pepper

  1. Prepare Your Grill

    Heat your charcoal grill until the coals are red hot.

  2. Season The Ground Beef

    Season your ground beef with a good amount of salt and pepper.

  3. Shape The Patties

    Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions, shaping them into 1/2″ thick patties.

  4. Start Grilling The Patties

    Place your patties on the grill an begin cooking them for about 4 minutes. Now, flip the patties and grill the other side for another 3 minutes or until they’re done to your liking. Before removing the patties, place a slice of cheese on them until it melts. Remove patties from the grill.

  5. Assemble Your Burger

    Firstly, place your KING’S HAWAIIAN® bottom bun on a plate. Then, you can place your cooked bacon and burger patty on top.

  6. Toppings Galore

    Now you can add any toppings you would like, for this recipe we used pickles and of course barbecue sauce.

  7. The Finish

    To finish your burger place the top bun on top and serve your burger with a side of your choice.
