DAVID HARRIS AS VICE PRESIDENT - FINANCE
SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA – Jack H. Brown, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Stater Bros. Markets, announced today the appointment of Dave Harris to the position of Vice President – Finance.
As Vice President - Finance, Dave is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the Company’s Financial Department. Dave will report to Phil Smith, Executive Vice President – Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer.

I have known Dave for over fifteen years. He knows our Company, our people, and our customers and will help strengthen our great Financial Department for today and for the future.”
Harris has over 25 years of accounting, auditing and business advisory experience. He was a partner with Ernst & Young in Riverside and Irvine, and was the Managing Partner of the Riverside Office of Ernst & Young prior to its consolidation with the Irvine Office. Since 2005, he has been a partner with Soren McAdam Christenson LLP in Redlands.
Harris currently serves on the Board of Directors of Children’s Fund and the Inland Empire Economic Partnership. In addition, he is a member of the Inland Empire Chapter of Financial Executives International.
Graduating in 1984 from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, Harris has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and is a licensed CPA in the State of California.
