Programmer Analyst Lead / Architect

JOB SUMMARY:
Strong experience with software development lifecycle skills including requirements gathering, functional design, technical design, development and testing
FUNDAMENTAL JOB TASKS:
  • Acts in lead role, training and guiding developers in the use of development tools as well as design patterns and best practices.
  • Provides technical leadership and coordinate development deliverables.
  • Architects, designs and implements both internal and public facing applications.
  • Responsible for the design and development of major subsystems on highly visible and critical business systems.
  • Codes and tests applications in accordance to design specifications and standards.
  • Responsible for successful completion of development aspects of projects in conformance to project goals and requirements.
  • Analyzes and troubleshoots existing processes and optimize code in order to improve performance whenever possible.
  • Assists in defining, updating and enforcing the team standards to improve the development process and quality of deliverables.
  • Participates in project team activities and contributes to documentation.
  • Prepares presentations and status reports.
  • Communicates complex technical subject matter appropriately to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Fosters proactive and cooperative relationships within the project team and throughout the IT organization.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
  • 7-10 years of experience delivering business solutions utilizing Microsoft .Net Framework up to and including .Net 4.5.
  • 3-5 years of experience administering Team Foundation Server including development of custom builds, reporting, work items and workflows.
  • Applicable Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server.
  • Web Application Design and User Interface Design.
  • Senior level experience with test automation.
  • Strong understanding of quality engineering and test principles and practices.
  • Deep understanding of multiple SDLC principles and practices (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Scrum).
  • Excellent architecture, design and coding skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time with high quality and measurable business value.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Outstanding problem solving skills.
  • A passion for all areas of software development and application lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with end-users, project team members and management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
